Coach Richard Westerlund on the national tournament opportunity, "I am very excited about the opportunity to play in this national tournament. We have 8 teams from 7 different state from various levels of basketball. This is a great opportunity for our guys and our program. I am thankful Coach Sandifar of Oakland City extended an invitation to us. Our guys have worked hard for an opportunity like this and I am thrilled they get this chance." On what it means for the program, "This is our program's first national tournament, so it is very special. This group of guys keep achieving things that have never been done, and I am excited we get to continue to try to cross things off our never list." On first round opponent, "Fortunately I have coach against Coach Shockley and the Rhema Eagles three times in my career prior to Wright State. Coach Shockley's teams are always tough and play hard. They have some really nice guard play. We need to prepare well for them. We have had a two week break, they're coming off playing in another tournament. Practice for us this week will be of the utmost importance as we prepare for one game at a time."
