Game 1:

Lakers out-hit University of Cincinnati-Clermont eight to six, but it wasn't enough in an 8-5 loss on Sunday

Zach Arnold led the University of Cincinnati-Clermont to victory on the pitcher's mound. He surrendered five runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out eight. Jordan Ritter threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Lucas Sheriff took the loss for Lakers. He went four innings, allowing seven runs on six hits and striking out two. Lakers totaled eight hits in the game. Chase Ruiz and Conor Schmitt all collected multiple hits for Lakers. Ruiz went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lakers in hits.

Lakers easily dispatched University of Cincinnati-Clermont 11-2 in game two on Sunday. Lakers put up five runs in the third inning. Greathouse, Isaac Fitzgerald, Connor Burr, Tyler Venters, and Dustin Lewis each had RBIs in the frame.

Quintin Cantelli led the Lakers to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted five innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out three. Greathouse threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Lakers totaled ten hits in the game. Lewis, Tristan Becker, Burr, and Greathouse each collected multiple hits for Lakers.

Inside the Box Score:
